Services
At Smiles By Design, we offer a wide variety of dental health services for our patients, including Cosmetic Dentistry and Compreshensive Dental Care. Below are a few of the cosmetic and reconstructive services, as well as general dental procedures, that we provide.
Crown/Veneer
A dental crown or dental veneer is used to replace or repair a broken or damaged tooth. Veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic or resin material that are bonded to the fronts or backs of the teeth, much in the same way that artificial fingernails are attached. The only requirement is that the teeth be structurally sound. Let us help you increase your confidence and revitalize you smile. We can repair or replace your damaged or missing teeth with natural looking dental crowns or dental veneers.
Implant
Dental implants are tiny titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure and prevent the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing. Dental implants are an ideal alternative to dental bridges or dentures. Patients with dental implants are able to eat, smile and laugh without fear of embarrassment.
Tooth Whitening
Tooth whitening is used to whiten and brighten your smile. Using the latest in whitening technology, we can safely make smiles brighter and more beautiful. Whitening can correct tooth discolorations caused by staining, aging, or just "dull" colored teeth. In cases of extreme tooth discoloration, whitening isn't always enough and crowns or veneers may be the only choice. But because of the low cost of whitening treatments, it's usually worth a try. We can assist you on the different methods for whitening your teeth and creating that “perfect smile.” We will educate you about the procedures so you can make an informed decision about which treatment is right for you. Let us help you look your best.
Root Canal
Any tooth that has decay or damage that involves the nerve is a candidate for root canal treatment. We use this procedure to save a compromised tooth by removing the diseased nerve to get a patient out of pain.
Extractions
You may need the careful and gentle removal of a tooth for any one of a number of reasons. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed, others may have advanced gum disease, or else have broken in a fashion which cannot be repaired. Other teeth may need removal because they are poorly positioned in the mouth (such as impacted wisdom teeth), or else in preparation for braces.
